I haven't written here in, well, forever!
Since I've been absent I've:
- Discovered the Mighty Boosh
- Starred in commercials for/and in 'The Merchant of Venice'
- Delighted my friends with the knowledge that I can sing 'Supercalifrajilisticexpialadocious' backwards
- Started writing letters to everyone in the world I admire including Oprah Winfrey and a myriad of others- I'll let you know if I get replies back. ( I spent $15 in air mail so I hope I get A reply back)
- Watched every episode of Kath and Kim from series one to four including the movie.
- Attempted to watch 'The Sound Of Music' on Youtube (I watched 'Mary Poppins' instead)
- Recited a 1000 Kath and Kim lines
- Embarked on an epical adventure by watching 'Gone With The Wind'
- Got 20/20 for my 'Hamlet' assessment.
So, as you can see, I've achieved much since we last do-si-doed the floor of the World Wide Web together.
But, as I've also come to realise, I have realised that life is not all about the job you get, the money you earn or the house you buy. In life, I really want to achieve my own goals and be happy in the knowledge, that little by little, our genreation can make a differece.
We are not the generation of ignorance, greed, selfishness that the media tries to make out. We are the generation of knowledge, compassion, thoughtfulness , power and change. And this is the most important thing I have learned since we last met.
So tally ho Mr Joe, 'till we meet again. I'm off to enjoy some more of 'Gone With The Wind'. I actually want to finish it before I die. :-0
